Willets Point Salvage isn’t for everyone—it’s rough around the edges, and if you’re not used to that kind of place, you might want to think twice. But if you’re looking for parts, they’ve got ‘em, and they actually keep track of what’s in stock.
Do yourself a favor and call ahead, though. Driving all the way out there just to find out they don’t have what you need is a waste of time.

Only downside was the weird little streets at night—kind of creepy—but other than that, the service was solid. Got a great deal on an engine, and the miles on it were decent. The workers were respectful, knew what they were doing, and actually made the whole process smooth. No hassle, no nonsense. If you need parts, wheels, or whatever, Roosevelt Auto Wreckers saved my car when I needed a motor, and I got exactly what I was looking for. Would send anyone there in a heartbeat.

These guys are the real deal. Bought an engine from them for a steal, and not only did they sell it to me cheap, but they installed it too. While they were at it, they replaced the water pump, thermostat, and spark plugs. Even called me up and said, “Hey, you might as well grab a clutch while you’re at it.” Two years later, my car’s running better than ever, and I still take it back to them for everything.
