Des Moines has better scrap yards—this one’s a mess. First off, they won’t tell you why you’re getting the price you’re getting. No receipts, no transparency. Last time I went, they paid me half of what other places would’ve. When I asked for a breakdown, they made me wait 15 minutes before handing me a scribbled note with crossed-out numbers. Compared to other yards, this was just lazy and unfair. ---
