Jim Roth and Susan Swift made buying that 2005 Buick Park Avenue owner’s manual stupid easy. Not only did they knock $4 off because I traded in my old 2001 Buick manual, but they handled the whole thing so smoothly I didn’t have to think twice. No fuss, no waiting—just a quick, fair deal. Appreciate it. ---

I called ahead to check on a part I needed, and Jim answered the phone. He was super easy to talk to and actually figured out what I was looking for without me having to dig up a stock number or anything. I’m a few hours away, so he even offered to snap some pictures so I could see it up close before driving out. The photos were really clear—multiple angles, no weird shadows—so I knew exactly what I was getting. Ordered it online, and Jim left it out front for me to grab after hours. When I picked it up, the part was in way better shape than I expected. Oh, and I ran into the owner’s grandson while I was there—dude was cool, we ended up talking for a bit. For the price, this place is a steal, and the service is top-notch. ---

So I messed up and ordered the wrong part, but instead of making me jump through hoops, they just reordered it and called to let me know. No big deal, no extra charge—just fixed it. I’ve been coming here for years, and Mike Swift runs a tight ship. The whole crew’s always been nice, no matter how many times I’ve wandered in looking for something obscure. If they don’t have it on the lot, they’ll track it down if it’s out there. Worth the trip, every time. ---

Zero stars if I could. Yesterday I spoke with Jim about some 351W accessory brackets. He told me to check the parts in person since he pulls them first come, first served. I drove two hours from Waterloo to be there right at opening, but Jim wasn't around. Some other guy, about 30 with a beard, helped me instead. He pointed out the engine in an E350, so I walked over. When I asked for the accessory brackets, water pump pulley, and crank pulley, his whole attitude changed. He flat-out refused the crank pulley, saying it was too much work. Then he asked if I'd ever pulled one myself, which seemed like a weird way to size me up. In reality, it's just four bolts. I decided to skip the crank pulley and take just the power steering bracket and pump instead. When I asked the price, he laughed and said, "I don’t know, what will you pay?" I told him online listed the pump at fifty bucks, so he said thirty-five for the bracket. Then I asked how long pulling the parts would take. He shrugged and said, "A while," and when I pressed for specifics, his answer was "maybe this afternoon." At that point I said never mind and left. I took the whole day off for a four-hour round trip for this nonsense. I’d also spotted an F150 seat and some Bronco frame rails I was considering buying, but after this I’m not giving them another dime. Zero stars, wouldn’t go back.

Need a part? This place has it. I was in and out with a replacement wheel in no time, and Brandon made it simple. He’s sharp, knows his stuff, and doesn’t waste your time. Fast, fair, and no surprises—exactly what you want when you’re in a hurry.
