Fiance purchased an engine in cash was given a 30 day warranty. They took the engine out and everything was very impressed but it was bad and they didn't want to warranty the engine would not buy from again. If you are looking for a big buy like an engine or transmission go on down to Pick n Pull they are wonderful.
My dad and I bought a 5.3L motor from these people. The man claimed that it was good and he personally heard it run. Got it back, it wouldn't hold any oil pressure, there was water in 4 cylinders, the spark plugs were finger tight, the exhaust manifold had only 2 bolts holding them on and the cam crank sensor bolt was missing. They did take it back with some headache and some lip, and the man the sold it to us wouldn't even show his face, but they had the nerve to charge us a $125 restocking fee for a motor that was no good. DONT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
The owner (pug) is a cheap, rude, dishonest man. He had my mom pay him to put a transmission in her firebird, needless to say the car had to be put in the shop a total of 3 times.. And he charged her each time.. You shouldn't have to pay for something more than once. Her car was taken to McKee's & they had it on the road in 2 days for 12 the cost of the original estimate given by pug bridges..
