Went here for the first time the other day. I would say my experience was an overall positive and straight forward one. The price for light iron was what brought me here. However, for me personally it's just not worth it commuting from where I live. I lost a lot of my day driving/loading/unloading. I would reccomend it to someone in the area though.

Very unprofessional place. You call up and get a price over the phone and you show up there 20 mins later and they change the price on you. I had transformer copper windings and they want to pay scrap metal price. Stay away from the facility in Hartford. They are no good. You can get much better pricing at other scrap yards. Especially for copper. Go to meriden instead. They are friendly, helpful and honest. Easy in And out process.
