Services and what to expect
Car Part Planet operates as a self-service yard. Customers pay an entry fee, then walk the yard to find and remove parts from decommissioned vehicles. The yard carries domestic and import makes and models, including sedans, SUVs, trucks, and vans. Common parts available include engines, transmissions, alternators, starters, radiators, HVAC modules, mirrors, headlights, taillights, bumpers, fenders, hoods, trunk lids, doors, seats, steering wheels, and interior trim.
Basic hand tools like wrenches, sockets, and screwdrivers are usually allowed. Power tools may be restricted or need staff approval. The yard doesn’t provide lifts or hoists—parts must be removable with standard hand tools and safely. Payment is accepted by cash, debit, or credit card at exit.
Inventory changes daily based on incoming vehicles. If you need a specific part, call ahead to check availability. The yard also sells scrap metal by the pound for recycling or custom fabrication. For vehicle disposal, the yard may accept vehicles for dismantling but doesn’t advertise cash-for-junk-cars services.
