Bought parts here a handful of times and they always worked out. The stuff itself was fine, but the owner’s attitude stunk. He was rude on the phone and even worse in person, and he came at my dad hard just because he asked a question.

I called this place looking for a bumper for my Ford, and the guy I talked to—don’t remember his name, but I did chat with the owner too—wasn’t about to waste my time with small talk. Some people complain he’s "rude," but honestly? If you’re expecting hand-holding, you’re in the wrong place. He’s direct, no-nonsense, and gets the job done. Turns out they had the exact bumper I needed, and the price was solid. I was actually there to build my own bumper from steel pipe, but then I noticed the ’03 Ford they had it on had a Leer camper top. Asked how much, and he gave me a deal so good I showed up the next morning to grab it. Went in for a bumper, left with a camper. Can’t beat that. ---

Marty’s is the spot for used parts—always has been. The guys there know their stuff, and the prices stay fair. I’ve been coming here for 20 years now. Sure, Marty’s not the type to greet you with a big grin every time, but when it comes to parts, he’s the real deal. And hey, as of February 2022, it’s still a solid place to grab what you need.

The yard’s a mess—cars are buried in tall grass, some are sunk so low you can’t even open the doors, and half the time you can’t tell what model you’re looking at. Trash is piled up in most of the wrecks, and nobody points you in the right direction. They just say, “Yeah, it’s out there somewhere.” The one good thing? The prices are decent if you’re pulling parts yourself. Still, I’d rather deal with the pull-and-pay lot in Louisville. At least that place is cleaner. ---
