First time calling this place, and right off the bat they were rude. I just had a few questions and got told to hold on like I was in the way. I said never mind and hung up. Not a place I’d go back to.

Stay far away from Del City Pickup Parts INC. They’ll take your seventy-five dollars for a part that fits in your pocket and has standard shipping, then hit you with an extra fifty-dollar freight charge to actually get it. When I asked for a refund, they ghosted me. Don’t waste your cash there or you’ll get burned.

I ordered a part and paid forty bucks for shipping, only to find out they sent it through some transport company that won’t let me have it until I pay fifty more dollars to release it. Worse, the transport company’s in on it too. I never got the part and the folks at this place treated me like dirt. Save yourself the headache—don’t buy parts from them online and especially don’t use Zelle. Once that money’s gone, it’s gone for good.

Total scam. Paid for a part, they sent a tracking number, then suddenly more shipping fees popped up and the delivery got held hostage. I paid the extra to keep going, but then another two-hundred-dollar charge showed up. Hoping for a refund, but probably won’t happen—total bull.

Walked in looking for a few parts, and they had every single thing on my list. The guys working there were actually friendly—no attitude, no hassle. Made the whole trip way easier than I expected.

I was in a real bind trying to find a fuel line for my F-150’s gas tank—turns out it’s one of those parts nobody stocks anymore. I called half a dozen places, and every single one either didn’t have it or didn’t even bother looking. Then I hit up Del City Pickup, and Shelley and her crew actually dug through the yard and found one for me. Not only that, but the price was fair. Saved me a ton of hassle. ---

Look, I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but this place made it easy. I’ve driven past this salvage yard for years, and I *almost* went there first—it’s right down the street. But after calling, I decided to go 20 minutes out of my way instead. Here’s why: I called asking about a part, and the woman who answered just said “hello” like it was her personal line. I said hello back, and she hung up on me. Okay, maybe it was a bad connection. So I called again. This time she at least said the business name, but her attitude was *awful*. Dry, uninterested, like I was wasting her time. When I asked about the part, she gave me the price and the closing time—both times sounding like I was inconveniencing her. So I called another place, and yeah, the part was $20 more, but the guy was actually helpful. He answered my questions, gave me extra tips, and didn’t act like I was bothering him. I even called back to ask about a deposit, and she sighed like I was the biggest nuisance ever. “Just come down and tell us what you want,” she said, like it was some huge favor. I’ve worked in customer service my whole life, and if she worked for me? She’d be gone. So thanks, I guess, for making me spend more money and drive farther just to avoid dealing with you. Won’t be back. ---

If you’re hunting for a part that’s impossible to find anywhere else, this is the spot. The staff’s actually decent—friendly, no attitude—and they’ll take returns if you’ve got the receipt. They’ll grab the part for you, and half the time they know their way around an engine, which is a nice bonus. ---

Bought two LS engines here, both supposed to be around 140,000 miles. Turns out? Not even close. I checked the VINs, pulled the Carfax, and the actual mileage was way higher. They must’ve stripped the odometers before listing them. Absolute garbage way to do business. Won’t be back, and they shouldn’t be proud of it. ---

Needed a passenger-side tail lamp for my ’99 Dakota *yesterday*, and Del City Pickup had it—used, on the shelf, and under $30. No waiting, no hassle, just got what I needed and got out. Appreciate it!
