Short answer: Pull-N-Save is a family-owned chain of self-service salvage yards. Its website lists nine yards: six in Arizona, two in Utah and one in Riverside, California. Every yard is open seven days a week, the gate fee on its price list is $3, and battery-powered tools are allowed. The company also buys cars and sells used tires.

The two Phoenix yards are about 0.2 miles apart on 27th Avenue, so one trip covers both. The Mesa yard appears on the company's locations page but not yet in its menus or on its price list, which suggests it is the newest. Call the main Arizona number before you drive to Mesa.

Two businesses with similar names are not part of this chain. Express Pull-N-Save in Tennessee has its own website, and Pull-N-Save does not list any yard in Tennessee or Colorado.

When is Pull-N-Save open?

YardsMonday to SaturdaySunday
All six Arizona yards7:30 AM to 5:30 PM7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Riverside, California7:30 AM to 5:00 PM7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
West Valley City, Utah8:30 AM to 5:30 PM9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Springville, Utah8:30 AM to 5:30 PM9:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Each location page carries the same note: access to the yard is restricted 30 minutes before closing, and the cashiers stay open until closing time. That is probably why the public listings for the two Phoenix yards show 5:00 PM where the company's site shows 5:30 PM. Treat the earlier time as your deadline to get in.

What does it cost to get in, and what can you bring?

The company's price list shows a gate fee of $3.00 for every yard that has a price list. The yard rules page says all bags, purses, tool boxes and backpacks are checked at the entrance.

RuleWhat the yard rules say
Minimum ageChildren under 16 are not allowed in the yard
Battery-powered toolsAllowed
Not allowedTorches, powered tools, power cutting tools, sawzalls, jacks, car batteries, jump packs, glass containers
Lifting a carNot allowed. The wheel stands under each car have to stay in place
CoresCores with oil in them must be drained
Pets and weaponsNot permitted
RecommendedClosed-toe shoes, safety goggles and gloves

The rule on tools reads oddly, because it bans powered tools and then says battery-powered items are fine. The practical reading is that a cordless impact wrench is welcome and anything that cuts or plugs in is not. If you plan to bring a cordless saw, ask at the gate first. Our junkyard tool checklist covers what to pack.

How do you check what is in the yard?

The inventory search on the company's site works two ways: by vehicle, or by fitment, which shows the years and models that carry a part that fits your car. The site warns that it cannot tell you whether the part is still on the car. The company says it holds more than 6,500 vehicles across its yards.

Prices are fixed by part, not by the car it comes from. The parts pricing page has a tab for each yard and breaks every price into four pieces: the item, an environmental fee, a core price and a warranty charge.

Part, Phoenix North listItem priceTotal with fee, core and warranty
Alternator$28.99$41.47
Starter$26.99$38.89
Front door, car$74.99$98.68
Engine, 4 or 6 cylinder$229.99$340.36

Those figures are from the parts pricing page on September 29, 2026, before tax. Riverside has its own list and is a little higher: an alternator there is $31.99. The core price comes back when you return the old part, which our explanation of core charges walks through. The company's about page describes the warranty as a cash-back guarantee you can buy for a small cost, so ask the cashier to leave it off if you do not want it.

Does Pull-N-Save sell tires?

Yes. The company runs a separate used tire search where you enter the width, ratio and rim size. That page gives the Phoenix North address, 320 S 27th Ave. It does not say whether the other yards hold the same tires, so call before you go to a different one.

Does Pull-N-Save buy cars?

Yes, in Arizona, California and Utah, running or not. You fill out a form, a representative contacts you with an offer, and you either bring the car in or have it picked up. The company says it pays in full on the spot with no added fees. It advertises free towing in Arizona. The page does not say what paperwork it needs, so ask about the title when they call.

Get a second number before you accept. You can request a cash offer from our form in a few minutes. To compare other self-service yards, see every U Pull It yard in the directory.
