405 AUTO SALVAGE LLC

They’ll tell you to call ahead, then don’t even open when they said they would. Typical waste of time, and the runaround starts before you even pull in.

Every time I need a part, this place comes through. No surprises, no overcharging—just a fair deal. That’s all I ask for, and they deliver. ---

I paid for a part yesterday at 2:50 PM, and today they’re telling me my order got canceled because I “rushed” it and they didn’t like how I said hello? That’s the dumbest excuse I’ve ever heard. First, they hung up on me three times in a row—just dead air, no answer, nothing. Then, when I finally got someone on the line, they screamed at me to never call again. After that, the phone was busy for who knows how long. Finally, some guy had the nerve to say they canceled my order because of my attitude, but that’s a flat-out lie. I kept calling because *they* kept hanging up. They took my money, then treated me like garbage. I don’t care if they’re “Best Price Auto Salvage” or whatever—they’re scammers, and I’d tell anyone to stay far away. ---

Zak was the one who helped me out. Knew his stuff, didn’t waste my time, and got me what I needed at a fair price. Not the cheapest place around, but worth it for the help. If you’re in the market, give them a try—you won’t regret it. ---

Bought a car here Saturday, and by Sunday—less than 24 hours later—the check engine light was on. I messaged the seller on Facebook, but he read it and ignored me. Left a voicemail? Nothing. Then the car died on me at the store. It barely made it home. The guy who sold it to me swore the battery was fine, that it just needed a jump because it had been sitting. But I *knew* something was off when I test-drove it—it struggled to start then too. Now I’m stuck paying more to fix whatever’s wrong. Absolute joke. Don’t waste your money here. They don’t care about selling you a working car, just making a quick buck. Update: Still no response from 405 Auto. Took it to AutoZone, and sure enough, the battery’s dead. They pulled codes, and who knows what else is broken. Wouldn’t trust these people to sell a bike, let alone a car.

Picked up a 2014 Nissan Altima here, and it’s in *great* shape—no surprises, no hidden issues. The folks running the place are straight shooters, no games, just honest people who treat you right. Need a part? They’ve got it, or they’ll hunt it down for you. Seriously, if you’re looking for a solid deal and good folks, this is the spot. Wouldn’t hesitate to send anyone here. ---

Ended up buying a van from these guys, and they made the whole thing easy. Worked with me on the details, no hassle, and everyone was friendly. Next time I need parts, I’m coming back here—no question. ---

Called first thing this morning about a tail light for my ’06 Civic. They said they don’t pull parts until the customer’s there to buy them, which is fine. So I show up, and the guy tells me they can’t pull it because it’s raining and “everyone’s gone.” Then some other employee steps in and says he’ll do it. Thirty minutes later, I ask how much longer, and the lady comes back to ask if I want to pick it up tomorrow. Not happening. Won’t be back. ---

The people here are polite, helpful, and actually respectful—no attitude, no nonsense. Prices are fair, and they even throw in a little warranty. Appreciate the good service. Shalom, Ricky Jenkins.
