Never been to a junkyard before, but these guys made it easy. They didn’t mind answering all my dumb questions about where to put different metals—I even asked the same thing twice, and they just laughed it off. The person at the window was just as nice. Their scale’s a joke. I weighed my full load at another place first—6,980 pounds, no problem. Drove over, unloaded, and watched the damn thing jump around like a broken yo-yo. Green light hits at 6,570, so I get paid for 60 bucks less. Went back to the other scale? 6,450. So yeah, they shorted me by at least 10, maybe 20 bucks. I’m not trying to burn anyone, but this isn’t right. If I don’t see this fixed, I’ll have to take it up with NYS weights and measures. Just handle it. ---
