The company used to trade as Gray and White, and its own site still says "formerly Gray & White". Some maps and older listings show the Atlanta and Montgomery yards under the old name. They are the same yards. The website marks Birmingham as newly opened.
The Atlanta and Stockbridge yards are about 24 miles apart in a straight line, so a part that is missing at one is a short drive from the other. Columbus is about 97 miles from Atlanta.
What are the hours and the entry fee?
Each location page on the company's site gives the same hours: Monday to Sunday, 9 AM to 4:30 PM. The site does not say when the last customer is let in, so do not plan to arrive at 4.
Seven-day hours are unusual in both states. In our directory, 21 of the 243 Georgia yards and 21 of the 234 Alabama yards list Sunday hours.
The entry fee is $3.50, and the site says it drops to $3 for cash. Carts and engine hoists are free to use. The listings show credit and debit cards accepted.

What are the rules?
| Rule | What the website says |
|---|---|
| Age | The FAQ says customers must be over 16 and ID may be required. The first-time visitor page says minors are not allowed |
| Shoes | Closed shoes. No sandals or flip-flops |
| Tools not allowed | Torches, jacks, heavy power tools and reciprocating saws |
| Your old part | No outside parts in the yard. Bring photos to compare |
| Help pulling parts | None. Staff may help bring a large part to the front |
| Warranty | 14 days standard. 60 days as a paid option |
| Refunds | No cash refunds. Returns become store credit, good for one year |
The two pages do not agree on age. If you plan to bring a 16 or 17 year old, call the yard first. Our junkyard tool checklist covers what to pack, minus the jack.
What do parts cost?
The company posts one part price list on its website. Each row shows the part price, a core charge, an environmental fee and the cost of the optional 60-day warranty. These rows are as listed on September 29, 2026, before sales tax.
| Part | Price | Core | Environmental fee | 60-day warranty |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Alternator | $24.50 | $6.00 | $1.96 | $4.90 |
| Radiator | $45.58 | $6.00 | $3.65 | $9.12 |
| Door, car | $89.99 | $10.00 | $7.20 | $18.00 |
| Automatic transmission | $130.00 | $30.00 | $10.40 | $26.00 |
| Complete engine, 4 cylinder | $210.00 | $55.00 | $16.80 | $42.00 |
In these rows the environmental fee works out to 8% of the part price and the warranty to 20%. The total column on the list includes the warranty, so your bill is lower if you decline it. The core charge comes back as store credit if you return your old part within 14 days, or is not charged at all if you hand the old part over when you pay. Our explanation of core charges has more.
